Had a wonderful time and took the tour and had a great guide. Went to the Lazer show twice which is good . I really missed the old show
Between the visitor center and the tour, you get a great overview of the second largest concrete structure in the world (only Three Gorges Dam in China is bigger). The one fly in the ointment is that security concerns restrict visitors from seeing the big electrical generation turbines; you'll have to be satisfied with the water pump generating plant, still awesome albeit not the real deal. Tour guide was friendly and well-informed. The dam is lighted at night, but the laser lightshow is only offered during the summer.
Amazing truly beautiful and exciting!! Lots of history. Everything is free including a light and music show that starts after dark. I would recommend everyone to check it out!

Great visitor/information center. Has a really good 45 min. video that goes through the whole project from start until now.
