A nice view of Grand Coulee Dam from this rustic little inn. The room was clean and well-maintained; beautiful knotty pine walls give it a real high desert feel. Upside for those who need technology... - in-room wired LAN and WiFi, both of which are on fiber. Downside... fuzzy cable TV and little if any cell phone service.
We had a King room the mattress needs to be replaced however they have made lots of other updates so I bet it's on the soon to be replaced list.
Five stars not because it's the Ritz, but because it is exactly as advertised: a very nice 2 diamond AAA rated motel. Clean inside the room, well maintained grounds. Easy walk to very nice spot below the visitor center to watch the laser light show on the dam. Can see it too from the room for the little ones that can stay up and out till 10:00.
This is a very nice, clean and quite place to stay. We did stay on a Sunday so this may account for the peacefulness. You do also want to keep in mind that most everything is closed on Sundays and Monday's. We brought out own food and a small convenience store is across the street
Nice clean room, has the basics, very nice in reception. Bottom floor rooms are pretty dark and no restaurants nearby. Balconies looked nice but I didn't have a top floor room. The water oscillates in temp on its own.
No better place to stay when visiting the coulee dam. You can walk right up to the laser show in the evening. A nice big pool for the kids. The owners and employees are awesome - very kind and helpful.
